B&I Visits

Picture this: A week slam-packed full of exciting meetings with individuals from corporations who support a dynamic organization that develops young people's future in the Ag Industry! WELCOME TO PARTNERSHIP VISITS!

This week Kari and I have embarked upon a large journey across the United States.

We started off by a delayed flight in Indianapolis. And by delayed, I mean five hours late. But we eventually arrived in the best state of the union: COLORADO!!! We were busy there. Ironically, we were so busy with meeting with partners of National FFA, that it didn't work out to even catch up with my friends and family...but the trip was great even still. We met with folks like: JBS Swift & Company, Colorado Corn Growers, Five Rivers Ranch Feeding Company, and even toured a dairy that milks 180 cattle at a time, 10,000 cattle - 3 times daily. That's a lot of MILK!

Then we were off to Iowa were we stuffed seven meetings into one quick day! One of the highlights was the meeting with Meredith Corporation who produces the Successful Farming magazine as well as all the Better Homes & Gardens magazines. We even got to tour their cooking test labs where they try out all the great food, and their wood shop where they actually test out tools and make furniture sold in the magazines.

AND OFF TO Los Angeles to visit the BIG ONE: TOYOTA!!!! Along with some other big ones: Monrovia, Valley Crest Companies, and Kubota. Man! We got to see some great things in LA, and enjoy the lovely weather, and busy traffic.

All in all, Kari and I had an awesome week! Check out Kari's blog for some fun pictures like the Valley Crest office headquarters. Its pretty sweet!
